Previously: A billionaire CEO storms into a five-star dining room to find her elderly father on his knees, wiping soup. The maître d' who dared humiliate him is about to learn who truly holds the power.

Victoria sank to her knees on the soup-stained floor, her bespoke ivory suit soaking up the mess without a second thought. She reached for her father, her hands gentle on his shoulders, lifting him as if he weighed nothing. She pulled off her luxury coat and draped it over his wet apron, covering the stain, covering the shame.

"Dad," she whispered, her voice breaking for just a moment. Then she turned her head, looking up at the assembled staff, the servers, the chefs, the managers who had all watched this happen and done nothing.

"Everyone bow to my father."

Her voice carried across the room like a bell. One by one, the staff lowered their heads. Some bowed deeply, their faces flushed with embarrassment. Others just stared, frozen, unable to process what they were seeing.

Phillippe stood off to the side, his jaw hanging open, his gold lapel chain suddenly feeling like a noose.

"You," Victoria said, rising to her feet, her eyes locking onto him. "You think you can speak to my father that way? You think you can raise your hand at my little brother?"

"I… I didn't know," Phillippe stammered, backing away. "I swear, I didn't know he was your—"

"You didn't need to know," Victoria cut him off, stepping closer. "You just needed to be human. But you chose to be a monster instead."

She turned to her security guards. "Get him out of my building. Permanently."

"You can't fire me!" Phillippe shouted, his voice cracking. "I have a contract! I have seniority! I—"

"You have nothing," Victoria said, her voice flat. "You'll never work here again."

Two security guards seized Phillippe by the arms. He struggled, his polished shoes slipping on the wet floor, his face turning red with rage and fear. "This is illegal! I'll sue! I'll—"

But his voice faded as they dragged him through the service doors, his protests echoing down the corridor until they were swallowed by the sound of the closing doors.

Silence.

Victoria turned back to her father. He was standing now, wobbling slightly, his hand clutching the coat she had draped over him. Ethan was clinging to his leg, still crying, but his sobs were quieter now.

"Dad," Victoria said, her voice soft. "Why didn't you tell them?"

Roberto shook his head, looking at the floor. "I didn't want anyone to know. I wanted to earn my place."

"You earned your place the day I was born," Victoria said. "You don't have to scrub dishes anymore."

"I like scrubbing dishes," Roberto said, a small smile tugging at his lips. "It keeps me honest."

Victoria laughed, but it was a wet sound, caught between joy and grief. She pulled her father and brother into a tight embrace, holding them close.

"You're coming home with me tonight," she said. "Both of you. And we're going to have a long talk about what it means to be family."
