My Wife Mistreated My Daughter Behind My Back Until My Hidden Camera Exposed Her
The Eye in the Corner
The afternoon sun cast long, deceptive shadows across the driveway as Richard sat in his sedan. To any passerby, he looked like a busy man catching up on emails before heading into his house. But Richard's eyes were glued to his phone screen, his breathing shallow and ragged. On the high-definition live feed, his eight-year-old daughter, Lily, was living a nightmare.
Inside the grand, marble-floored foyer of their suburban home, Lily was on her knees. Her small hands, raw and red, clutched a heavy mop that was far too large for her. Her hair was tied in a messy, undone bun, and her shoulders shook with heavy, silent sobs. She was trying to scrub away a non-existent stain on the pristine marble.
Standing over her was Eleanor, Richard’s wife of just six months. Eleanor held a small ceramic bowl of apple slices, chewing casually. Her strawberry-blonde hair caught the soft hallway light, making her look like a picture of domestic perfection—until she spoke.
"Clean it again," Eleanor commanded, her voice devoid of any warmth.
Lily squeezed the wooden handle of the mop, her small voice cracking.
"My hands hurt," she whimpered, looking up with pleading, tear-filled eyes.
Eleanor didn't offer a hand or a kind word. Instead, her gaze shifted directly toward the subtle corner of the ceiling molding where the hidden security camera was nested. She looked straight into the lens, as if daring the world to stop her, before looking back down at the little girl.
"Then cry quieter," Eleanor snapped, her lips curling into a cold sneer.
On the screen, Lily’s distress escalated.
"Please, I want dad!" she cried out.
Eleanor let out a sharp, mocking laugh.
"He won't see this," she whispered maliciously.
Outside, Richard’s knuckles turned white on the steering wheel. A dangerous fire ignited in his chest.
"I see everything," he muttered to the empty car.He threw the car door open, his heart hammering against his ribs as he sprinted toward the house.
