It was supposed to be an ordinary Tuesday afternoon when James pulled his sedan into the driveway of his quiet suburban home. He had left work early, hoping to surprise his wife, Amanda, and their nine-year-old daughter, Chloe. But as he stepped out of his car, the tranquil neighborhood silence was shattered by a piercing, desperate cry. It was Chloe, and she was sobbing hysterically.

Panic surging through his veins, James sprinted toward the backyard garage. What he saw stopped him dead in his tracks.
