Previously: When Julian stormed Clara's hospital room to threaten her and her newborn baby, he thought he had total control. But he didn't expect Clara's wealthy, estranged father to walk through the door.

Unveiling the Dark Truth

Julian straightened his suit, his face flushed with embarrassment and anger. He glared at Arthur, the man who had built a real estate empire but had been absent from Clara's life due to Julian’s own manipulative lies. For years, Julian had intercepted Arthur’s letters and phone calls, convincing Clara that her father had abandoned her, all while keeping Clara dependent on his own control.

"You have no right to be here, old man," Julian sneered, trying to regain his composure. "This is my wife and my son. You walked away from her years ago. Get out before I call security!"

Arthur turned slowly, his silver-grey eyes cold and sharp as steel. He stood tall, shielding Clara and the baby from Julian’s venomous gaze.

"I didn't walk away, Julian. I know exactly what you did," Arthur said, his voice deadly calm. "I know about the letters you burned. I know about the bank accounts you drained. And most importantly, I know why you are really here today."

Clara looked between her father and her husband, her mind spinning. The nurse, realizing the immediate danger had passed, quietly slipped out to call security, leaving the three of them in the tense room. Julian’s eyes darted toward the door, a sudden flicker of panic crossing his features. He had married Clara believing she was the sole heir to Arthur’s massive fortune, hoping to use her to pay off his mounting gambling debts. But Arthur had recently discovered Julian's scheme and cut off any potential inheritance, restructuring his will so that everything would go directly into a trust for Clara and her child—a trust Julian could never touch.

When Julian realized he would never see a dime of the wealth, his rage had consumed him. He had stormed the hospital to force Clara to sign a power of attorney document before she could speak to her father. But Arthur had been tracking Julian's movements, waiting for the right moment to strike back and protect his daughter.
